However, it must be emphasized that the crimes of Hitler's Germany were not directed specifically against France, but against humanity. This applies to those Albanians who believe and propagate this reconciliation as something very simple, namely the achievement of peace without remorse - and open economic relations without borders - with the most aggressive state in Europe and perhaps in the world - Serbia. There is something that can never be ignored – and this is well known by all serious political scientists – that peace without repentance is impossible, that peace without mutual recognition is a farce, that peace must come through international recognition and international law – condemning unequivocally war crimes and crimes against humanity.
